Bay Glen Homes

Bay Glen homes were built by David Weekley Homes, Village Builders, Brighton Homes and the now defunct Ryland Homes in 1986 through 1990. There are 1,389 single family homes there. Bay Glen Homes range in size from 1,450 square feet to 2,200 and have 3-5 bedrooms, 2 – 2.5 baths and 2 car garages. Lot sizes can be from 6,000 square feet to 13,000 with an average being 7,300.

NOTE: A very small section of Bay Glen, Bay Glen Manor (built as a precursor to the neighboring Bay Knoll) does have homes up to 2,800 square feet.

The average home in Bay Glen has a little less than 2,000 square feet and is either 3 or 4 bedrooms, 2 or 2 and one half baths.  There are a tiny handful of 5 bedroom homes in Bay Glen.

Bay Glen provides easy access to I-45 for those needing to access either downtown Houston or Galveston. This community is served by the Clear Creek ISD.
