The Bay Pointe subdvision is located just east of I-45 on the north side of Clear Lake City Blvd.  The community was built from 1992 to 1997 by 4 different builders; Centex Homes, Hammond Homes, David Weekley and Village Builders.  Bay Pointe homes range in size from 1600 square feet to about 2,700. 

Typical lot size in Bay Pointe is 7,700 feet.  Most homes there are 3 or 4 bedroom, 2 or 2.5 baths and include 2 car garages; most will be attached.

The community is served by the Clear Creek Independent School District.
